I'm a newbie to this forum but not a newbie to Ibanez. I just got a new RGA-121 & an AR300 & the Korean AR300 is absolutely blowing me away. Like many, I've owned Les Pauls, SGs, & Explorers but this AR300 has made me as giddy as a 3 year old at Christmas. I considered the new PV HP Signature EXP, the Ibanez AR300 & a Les Paul Studio. I grew up playing Gibson so that's where I leaned, but the AR300 blew it away. I let an AR700 go a few years ago & regretted it, so I've wanted another AR since then. I tried Hamer & Gibson, too, at the same store. Nothing sounded as good or played as well as this AR300 in honey sunburst. One of the most important things to me was *that* Gibson sound in the neck position. The Hamers (US models) didn't do anything for me. The Gibsons just didn't seem worth the $$$ they were asking so I had to go with the axe seemed to put it all together....& that was the AR300. For shred, the RGA-121 (in Vintage Violin) is a great breath of fresh air but this AR300 is too flippin hard to put down!

Oh, mine is a ī04 sherry sunburst and pays like a dream. But i canīt get ridd of that dizzel and dazzel from the frets when playing open chords.

And the action is a bit higher than on my ī77 bob weir professional 2680 that doesīnt dizzel and dazzel.

But for the money itīs the best you can get in my opinion.
