Neck Thru Roadstar???

I thought most all Ibanez guitars,save for the "Artist" series-come with bolt on necks. It spooked me to see an older Ibanez without a bolt on neck--- Something said "Buy Me" - so I did!!! All gold hardware on it,Grey volume/tone knob's, gold p.u.cover's,kind of a champane/silver/pearl finish on it, appears to be all original.When I got it home, I found out it's got coil tap tone knob's---COOL! Any help on what model it is as there are no specific #s on it??? I've had my RS1500 since '85. I was also sold on the neck thru construction. This is a strong well crafted guitar. I hope you enjoy yours. What's the extra switch between the volume pots? What's the story on the bridge pickup? Mine's stock except for the chips and worn gold plating on the bridge. Appear's to be a "Stock" guitar by the amount of crud in the P.U. ring screws and around the cavity's! I'll post some pic's this weekend when I get a chance. The extra switch is a coil tap for that pickup. I thought mine was rough! Yeah, the yellowing of the clear coat makes the Silver turn Gold. Hmm... I paid less than the opening bid for mine and it was 100% original. The fact that the 3 screw mounting is still intact leads me to believe they're correct.
