Looks like you did some major reconstructive surgery to add accomodate for the more narrow trem. Not being very crafty, how did you make it look so clean (looking at the before paint picture)?   Jbstratman Username: Jbstratman Registered: 01-2006 Posted on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 - 10:16 pm:    Brent, There was no way to put my trem in Flo's original body. There was just too much wood scooped out under the trem with nothing left for me to mount to. Ibanez custom shop furnished me a Basswood body less the trem routing. I did that myself, so it was routed to fit exactly. After doing the first install and set-up, I tore everything down and took the body to them for painting, After they finished, I did the final install and set-up and delivered it. I have since done additional work Steve requested. I made a modified block to accept the original Ibanex pull-out arm (which Steve uses as a slide live) and made new stainless "lay-in" (as opposed to "thread-through") saddles. This new saddle design will be the standard now. A great suggestion.
