How rare is this roadstar?????

Author Message   Jl2556 Username: Jl2556 Registered: 07-2004 Posted on Friday, July 08, 2005 - 7:03 pm:    I think it's a rs430(the guitar isn't here for me to check for sure) It has 3 single coils with a EDGE trem.It's a pearl white w/black pick gaurd,rosewood neck and 5-way switch.I have a 85 and a 86 catalog and it's not in there.The 85 catalog has the same guitar except, my single coils don't have the metal "blade" in the center and it has a pro rocker. I have a guy that wants to buy it.He offered me $300 (includes a fender case).The guitar is a 9.7 out of 10. It's in REAL good shape. Is that a fair offer or is it rare enough that I might want to keep it???? You'll never get that kind of money on e-bay for it (unless you shill bid it yourself). It can be found (in Black) on page 8 of the 1986 catalog between the RG425 and the RG440. Steve
