Ok I'm here to find out some information about my Ibanez RG270DX... Ive been looking at a lot of these since i am going to be selling my guitar soon but i have noticed a difference in my guitar that i havent noticed in any of the others from the same era. The sharktooth inlays on my RG270DX which was purchased from a local retailer (Georges music, PA) back in 1997/1998 are not the lightning bolt-type that i see on most of the guitars from this time. Rather they are triangle shaped ones. I have seen these on the ibanezrules.com site in the old ibanez catalogs but only in the 1995 issue, but they do not offer the metallic green color that my ibanez is. I will get a pic or copy of the number on the back of the neck for reference, but here is a pic. What is the deal with this odd combination?

Well, looks like the guitar is, after all a 1995 model. Although not listed in the 1995 catalog on that site...i found it on the revised 1995 pricing sheet. Price sheet 2 July 95'. http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/price/1995/index.htm
