Ola: actually no, it's just people here are very enthusiastic about some model guitars and tho they may not themselves be in the market for it want to "share" witt their guitar collecting brothers (and sisters) something they see for sale.

It's anyone's guess. I think it should be possible to find one for $500-700 if you're patient. Problem is they come along very rarely.

Oftentimes there's one person determined to win the auction regardless of the price, a seller's dream bidder.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing as every seller wants the most money his or her item will bring. But, for the player/collector, it serves to raise prices over and above fair market value beyond reason.

I don't like this. It would probably be more correct to say, "I THINK I don't like this." Because in all fairness, it's because I don't have that kind of money to spend at my disposal. If I were to win the lottery and money was no object, I'd probably do the same thing.

Money can't buy everything, but it sure does soothe the nerves and makes life much more enjoyable.

No its a shortstop bridge, and I already own a couple of these and sc620's. So I just want everyone to enjoy these.

The SC series have Shortstop II wraparound bridges. The original Shortstop found some 80s models is no longer used to my knowledge.
