hi,
today I got my newest german-ebay-baby. it is a roadstar II series RS525 in the color purple-haze, serial-no. G852735. it came to me in an awful collectors- and players condition. on the ebayfoto you could not see to much of it but it looked like someone thru off on the guitar and let it dry. but it is just the rest of glue from some patches or so. the seller told so and I already cleaned it. it just got a few little dings and dongs, but the wood around the screws where the trem is adjusted seemed to be broken once. it seemed to be repaired in a not to experted way and afterwards painted in a shining red. also the trem-bar is missing.it came with an original humbucker and an OBL-HB L-400R (?). luckily he also send me tho other original pu. only the obl-hb was connected and this only with one of the volume-pots. the tone-pot (M250KohmB, 45K with a kondensator by ERO or ERU KT1800 - 0,022/10/400 - 160V~ P.)was and still is dead. the 3-way toggle is -made in italia- by MET (?). so I guess that these are not the original electronics?
in the 85 catalog of ibz-rules it is said, that it must have coil-splitting with push/push or push/pull pots.

I surly would like to reset it to original condition, therefor I need to know where to get the original parts (trem-bar, push/push or push/pull pots, 3-way toggle). what pus does my roadstar have? in the catalog it is said, that they were special made, even different for the neck and the bridge position?

tks to everyone
maggy

Maggy,

I have an RS530 that has the same configuration. I'll pop the back cover off her this weekend and draw something up for you. Hang in there...

Maggy,

I emailed you the diagram for my 530 as well as a link to a web site that has a ton of other wiring diagrams. Let me know how you make out.
