Help finding Blazer info

I have a 1982 Ibanez Blazer Custom Made (it says Custom Made on the headstock), and I am looking to replace the pickups, switch, and pots, and I'm wondering if anyone has, or knows where to find, specs for this model. I don't have any pictures as of right now, but I do plan on taking some pictures and uploading them. I've found several links to wiring diagrams, but I'm looking for more detailed specs as to the type of pots and pickups. I think this might be a rare axe. Ibanezfreak1960 has plenty to tell about it. He owns a prototype. I believe it's pearl white... The pots are from NOBLE. The numbers are on the original ones. Show us some pics so that we can see what the pickups look like. I have a number of Blazers which say 'Custom Made' on the headstock. I have one Blazer wiring diagram and maybe it will help, but you probably already have it. (If you have more, I'd like to know...) As far as Noble is concerned, don't expect much. I contacted them a while ago and they were no help. These items are long discontinued. Your best bet is to watch eBay for someone unloading Blazer parts. It's pretty beat up, though. I'm pretty much going to be replacing the entire electronics. Pickups, pots, selector switch. Problem is, the pickguard is cracked in one spot and while it's nothing that will inhibit me from putting it back together, I'd like a new one. I'll take some pictures sometime today. The ID number is on the neckplate, so I'll make sure I feature that. My wife is going to strip it and re-stain it, so I'll have some before and after pictures as well. Remove the sticker with the help of a hair dryer, so that the glue is warm. You can remove the glue with some alcohol or Eau de Cologne (smells better than benzine). What we can also see, is that Michael is right about the "Custom Made" decal. It's on all Blazer pictures. OK, so now we know that we must look for a BL170 wiring diagram. That's a start. I'll see what I can find. Check option 1 (JD's website): The wiring diagram of this Blazer is not on Jim Donahue's site. Check option 2 (Ibanez.com): starts with diagram from 1994 until now. But perhaps we can find diagrams of more recent guitars with the same setup. Check option 3 (the 1982 for the setup of the BL170): We find: 2 Super 70 humbuckers, a master volume, a master tone, a 3 way pickup selector, a phase switch. So we must look for the wiring diagram for some Roadstar or something with 2 humbuckers, a 3-way pickup selector, a master volume, a master tone and a phase switch. I just checked 1994 and 1995... still nothing. I'll give you the link to all available catalogues, because I wanna go to the Irish session now. http://db.musik-meinl.de/ I'll give it another try tonight. I'm having second thoughts about the wiring. I have a good friend who went to luthier school (and who is currently custom building me a 7-string). I'm gonna see if he can help me redo the electronics. But thanks for all the info!
