Is my guitar a RG565?!

I brought a 90's Ibanez today from my local guitar shop as it sounded great and fitted my budget perfectly! Wanted to find a bit more about it, It is marked as a RG565, it is a metallic green colour with reverse headstock and body coloured fret markers. However it has a H - S - H layout using V1 S1 and V2 ibenez pu's which is unlike any other I have seen so far on the internet? Will see if i can get some pics laters, what ever it is I really like it so am not that bothered!! Yours may be a domestic (Japan) model. Or, it's been modified. What's the serial number?
