What's with all these people thinking that because they did'nt sell the whole guitar they can take it apart and sell separately??? I HATE THIS!!! Imagine if eBAY had been around in the 60's;what would the vintage strat market be like now??? But every now and then I do see a prestige that has been parted. There's a couple sellers, one with a little more tact than the other, but they both buy RGs on eBay (and maybe elsewhere) and clean and sell the parts. Probably making a couple extra hundred bucks per guitar parted out. They're obviously filling a need (spare parts). I see dismembered Roadstars all the time. Me and Johnny Cash... I started with the neck, but it didn't fit the strat I had bought it for. So I went back the next day to buy the rest! Very nice guitar after all, for $50 per half! I've looked at the various parts on e-bay, watched them until they finish up, and it looks to me like they're not coming out that far ahead. Am I missing something? I mean, I see RG's as low as $125, but those aren't the ones they're buying and parting out.
