Any idea what year serial # FO52182 would have been made? Is there some place to look for this info? Many thanks, Mark.

Hey Mon!

These short SNs always confuse me. The F0 indicates a Japanese made instrument in a year that ended in zero. They made the RG570 in 1990 and 2000.

The 1990 model had V1, S1, V2 pickups while the 2000 had V7, S1, V8 pups. Which does your guitar have?

Does it have the AANJ, or the square heel neck joint?

Thanks for the input. It isn't mine. I saw it on ebay. I have been looking for my first Ibanez (any suggestions appreciated) and one of these is definitely in the running. Still researching, though. Thanks again.
