Hi All,

Seem to be experiencing some sort of overwhelming attraction to 2619's and their cousin AR300 right about now. I do not have an AR 300 and thought I'd change that. So here it is. I'm pretty psyched. I love the color (as I already have the violin color 2619)
I'll post more picture when I get it.

Got it already!!
She's prettier than the pictures. Doesn't look as though it's ever been played. No wear to speak of. One of the nicest pieces I've got.
She's off to a set up this afternoon, but when I get her back I'll post pictures.

I'm not surprised, but I have to say she's weighin' in close to 10 lbs I'd guess. Glad my days of standing on stage are pretty much over.

My 2619 would be my choice as gigworthy for weight alone.

The gold bridge, tailpiece, pickups and tuners are remarkably well preserved.

I know the AR 300's are not rare by any means, but a pretty piece is a pretty piece....
Color me happy

Pretty rare in that condition for sure. Nice win.

I think you may be right Emilio. This AR300 is almost identical to the one pictured in this ad
AR300 ad

Here are a couple of photos I took over the weekend

close up
full

I weighed her and she's 10 pounds....but interestingly enough my 2619's 9 pounds...and it feels more like 7 or 8 to me.

Amazing how much 1 pound can make....particularly strapped on for several hours.
