HELLO ALL. I JUST PICKED UP AN IBANEZ ON EBAY AND AFTER A FEW YEARS...HAVE DECIDED TO START PLAYING AGAIN IN THE LITTLE FREE TIME I HAVE.

FIRST LET ME TELL YOU ALL ABOUT THE IBANEZ THAT IS ON THE WAY...BEST I CAN TELL ITS AN RG550 EITHER A 1990 FOR 2000 MODEL (IF ANY BODY CARES TO TAKE A STAB AT IT THE SERIAL# IS F0142246 - IT WAS THE BLUE ONE ON THE COUCH THAT WENT FOR $200 LOL)...I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED AN IBANEZ RG OR A JEM (I STILL MAY PICK UP A JEM IF THE DEAL IS RIGHT)SO I BID ON THIS ONE AND WON! COOL ENOUGH. THE OWNER TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL MUSIC STORE AND HAD IT CLEANED AND RESTRUNG AND A BASIC SETUP DONE WHICH WAS NICE OF HIM...SO...NOW I JUST HAVE TO AWAIT ITS ARRIVAL!!!!

I WORK IN IRAQ....12 HOUR DAYS 7 DAYS A WEEK SO I DONT HAVE MUCH TIME TO PLAY. I ORDERED A POD XT AND AM HOPING I CAN GET ON LINE IN MY HOOCH AND USE IT WITH GUITAR PORT TO PRACTICE A BIT GET BACK IN THE GROOVE. AT HOME IN THE STATES I HAVE A MEXICAN FAT STRAT, PEAVEY TRIPLE XXX HEAD AND A GENZ BENZ G-FLEX 2X12 CAB....FOR HEAVIER STUFF ITS A PRETTY TIGHT SET UP...I AM HOPING THE POD XT AND THE IBANEZ WITH THE WHAMMY PROVIDE A NEW REALM OF FUN TO MY OLD SET UP WHEN I GET HOME.

WELL THATS IT FOR ME...COOL BOARD...LOOK FORWARD TO VISITING THIS PLACE WHEN I CAN.

This thread had generated so much interest I felt compelled to add to it!

Cool, both of those guitars sound interesting. The Reb Beach model (yeah, she's only seventeen) is interesting, although I've never played one.

I have a couple of RG 570's in my collection, although they've been sitting in their case for a while now... in favor of my strat copies..

Both of these guitars have always interested me...for some reason in my late 30's I am developing a need for gear! I would like to find a sweet deal on a Jem next..
