I have a couple of Proline 1770's that I LOVE !!!! Well, I felt the pickguards would look better like this :

Hey Mrmike,

You too can have these made for you by my friend Dave at www.fretsonthenet.com. If I know Dave, he's already made a template for them. Give him a call or an e-mail and tell him Heartfielder sent you !!! Spice up those Prolines !!! And then let me see them !!!

I've never played one, but the they look flippin sweet (yeah, Napoleon reference there).

What's the floating trem like? Looks like the dark one had a post replaced (or the black wore off from playing). The routing doesn't look like you can pull too sharp without bottoming out. Not that I do that very often to be honest... but just an observation.

Brent,

If you get a chance to play or buy one, I highly recommend it !! These guitars are great !!! I absolutely love them. As for the trems, you'll notice the black one has a Floyd and the gold one has an Edge. They can both be pulled back quite a bit as I do that often in my playing ala Vai. Go get one !!!

Looks great! I didn't see them on the frets...site, do you have to call or e-mail? How much were your replacement P-guards?

I've painted mine a few times, at first white, and now gray:
