...Mike. I'm mostly a Hamer player, but I've had alot of experience with Ibanez's through the other guitarist in my band, and I idolize Ibanez players like Gilbert, Vai, Petrucci, the guys from BTBAM, etc.

Anyhow, I'm trying to identify a guitar so I can determine if I want to buy it. I only have one picture to deal with and I can't really determine anything from it.

It is supposedly about 10 years old and probably an RG, thats all I can determine about it. The guy wants 75 dollars for it. Any advice?

Haha yeah I may. For 75 dollars it should be a pretty good deal, right? I don't think it is one of the cheaper "Gio" models, thats mostly what I was wondering. I have never seen a bottom of the line model like that with sharktooth inlays. If its a non-Gio Korean or Japanese made guitar I could be getting a really great deal, I think.

Its hard to tell but I would guess RG, I looked on ebay but did not see any rg's with sharks tooth inlays and the S-S-H pickup config.

EX Series. Korean made. Similar to the RG but the body edges are more radiused and I think they were all 22 fret vs 24 on the RG. The inlays are triangles, not shark tooth. Not enough detail in the photo give you any more on this one.

Great info everybody. I noticed that the body was more rounded and that was telling me that it wasnt an actual RG. Should I buy it anyway for 75? I mean, I would think I could just sell it for a profit, or maybe part it out.
