Hey Ya'll,

I gotta give Ibanez credit where credit is due. Even with all my bitchin' about the last few years models, they still know how to offer a good guitar for a low price.

Okay, yeah, the old Japanese models have the mojo cool factor goin' on. But what made those guitars great in their day? They were were good instruments for less money.

I just got a 2004 RG321MHMOL. That's a mahogany bodied, hard-tailed, RG with a Mahogany Oil finish. Korean made, dirt cheap (I paid $170) no frills guitar that gets the job done nicely. Okay, it has one frill... The fretboard is bound

RG321MHMOL

Yesterday I visited the shop I used to work in and spotted a new ARX somethin' or other. I picked it up, strummed it a bit, and looked at the price tag. $299 !! For a set-neck cousin to the Artist I think it's a great piece. Great lookin' beast too.

Steve
