I' d like to summarize here the different Ibanez "V" pickups.

Until a few minuts ago, I thought V3 and V4 had never existed.
But I found a catalog were these pickups are mentionned. -> http://www.ibanez87.it/foto/cataloghi/1991/scan/cat91-18.jpg

So I would like to make a chart with the following columns :

Name / Position / Style / Guitars mounted on / Output Level

V1 - Neck - ??? - late 80's/early 90's RG - ???
V2 - Bridge and Neck - Rock - Artist series, RG series - ???
V3 - Bridge - ??? - 90's Artist 100-200
V4 - Neck - ??? - 90's Artist 100-200
V5 - Bridge - Metal- ???
V6 - Bridge and Neck - Rock - Low end early 90's models - low output
V7 - Neck - - RGs
V8 - Bridge - - RGs

I'm waiting for your contributions, and I'll complete this post with them.
So if you have any experience of some of these pickups, please share them :-)
