Saber maybe ? Need help ...

It has every indication that it's a Saber, but there isn't a good match in the 1988 catalog on the Ibanez Rules site. There are similar guitars but not offered in yellow or they have mini switches whereas mine does not have them. Lemme know if you know the story with this. A perfect example of an early Sabre. Looks like a 540S (DY color) as it appears in the 89 catalog: http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/us/1989/s.jpg Something I've learned is that models seen in the catalogs usually have a production date from the previous year. Makes a lot of sense when you think about it
