Ibanez Pro Line series (inquiry)

Hi all,

Wondering if any one could be of some assistance...
I have an Ibanez Pro Line from the 80's / serial # F850018 / 2 X Single coil / 1 x Humbucker (all pick ups function), Tremolo bar, clear see through volume knobs x2 plus three chrome switches under the 2 knobs.
Is in a red finish w/ plain wood neck, gloss black headstock (strat style). I am looking at purchasing another elec / acoustic & therefore would like to sell the Pro Line to part finance the new purchase.
The Pro Line is in immaculate condition & was purchased brand new in the 80's (can't really remember what year, early 80's I think ??? if you know what year, pls. let me know)
and has not really been played much at all...

What model would this guitar be ?
&
Would any one have an idea as to what an asking price for this would be ?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, Many thanks.
Will post some picz' shortly...
Cheers.

Harleyoz:

Welcome to ICW.

The serial number indicates that it's an '85 model. According to the '85 catalog, red finish and ebony fretboard would be the PR1440 model; white finish with maple fretboard would be the PR1550.

Your clear, see-thru knobs don't sound like the black metal Tek-Grip knobs that the catalog shows.

Pictures would be good.

Hey Johns'

Many thanx for your response,

Yeah, I will get some picz' up shortly, I have seen those Tek-Grip knobs on another model that was exactly the same as mine, except for the knobs...
They are clear with a black inside with the numerals in white / inside the clear polymer ? (or plastic, not sure)

Will get the picz' up asap...
