I have the opportunity to buy what is basically a new 1982 DT-400 Destroyer. It has been in a case or hanging on a wall since new. No scratches, dings, or discoloration. The neck is perfect and it plays great. All gold hardware is perfect. Can someone tell me the value of this guitar.

C4s4g:

Welcome to ICW. Sorry I can't help with the value of an '82 DT-400. I'm sure someone here will have the info you need.

However, as that model was produced after 1980, it does not fit the criteria of the New and Vintage section. So, I'm moving this message thread to the Cool Contemporary section.

According to the Argus list €810.-

Don't know if it's accurate.
It's not in RusselW's database.

From Experience $600 - $900 for a mint DT-400 with the split inlays. Depends on the moon that particular day...
