I know they are Dimarzio but I don't know which model. I got it for $750 singapore dollars (about $300 US). Is this a good deal? What do they go for in the US and are they desirable to collectors (or should I bolt in my Seymour Duncan pickups and my GK-2A synth pickup)   90's Ibanez Guru Posted on Friday, October 08, 2004 - 11:04 am:    Oooh... In the '96 catalog it says it has Bridge: Tone Zone Mid: Jem single Neck: Humbucker from hell Because it was his first signature model and was available only from 1994-1996, I wouldn't do much to depreciate the value of it, such as drill holes, or replace pickups (unless you hold on to the originals). $300 for any Ibanez signature model is a phat deal and if you don't think so I'll be happy to take it off your hands. Ibanez has only made a few RG models with a fixed bridge, so that's worth something there. Sorry I don't have the retail cost of it handy, but the cheapest Vai model sells for over $800 new. Every discontinued model sells at least double that. James
