This guy is making it out that this is one of the Destroyers that was built for Phil Collen.

Not actually subscribing to the theory because if it was specially built for Phil, why is there a trem cavity in the back, if it was built with the Kahler, there's no need for that route because it was a self-contained unit. It's also a black finish Kahler, which isn't saying much but wierd when the other Kahlers on Phil's guitars were gold. The headstock does say "Destroyer II" not "X-Series" but I though I'd let the Destroyer experts take their potshots at it.

He's looking to get $1500 out of this guitar.

He mentions that its not the org. trem.It looks like a high end destroyer to me.Take a look at the tuners these are not your run of the mill tuners. The neck looks pretty good also.A high end phil collen is worth about 600.00. I myself wouldnt pay any more than that.Add another 60.00 to 80.00 for case.If he can get 1500.00- more power to um

Hey, my first post. Interesting site, lots of knowledge here. Been playing Ibanez for many years. Bought everything and keep a really nice 540R ltd as my # one. I recently scored a really nice 540R on ebay. Very straight, strange neck though. Has the letters KIT in BIG lettering along with 540R-IH in the neck pocket. Regular Edge, Backstop, looks and plays like a JS1000. Candy red, and the neck is a ball bat. Huge C shape, very comfy though. Smaller frets. I have had numerous radius guitars, the body shape just works for me and have never seen or played one like this. Any ideas what it is?? Thanks for your help, rock on!
