Hello

I am after some history on the the 'S' series twin neck.

I have been unable to find any information on this remarkable guitar.

The story on my guitar is that it came out to Australia for the Melbourne music show back around '88/'90. Some small scratches were on the guitar and it was subsequently sold in Australia rather than shipped back to the USA.

Sometime later the guitar was onsold to myself.

I only know/have seen of 3 others within Australia.

Any information is appreciated.

Which one? The 12/6 or the 7/6?

By 'S' series i meant Sabre - it is definitely a Sabre body shape.

the 6 has a Floyd rose locking tremolo and 2 humbuckers and a centre sungle p/up. colour is black.

the 12 has twin humbickers in the bridge and neck positons.

Silverstrings:

Does your guitar have a serial number? If so, what's the first few characters/digits?

Does it look like the 540STN shown in this 1991 US catalog:

For anyone interested:

Here's a link to a shop in Sweden that has a '91 540STN (and a Brownburst 2405 Custom Agent):

Thank you gentlemen

Now I know that it is a 540STN.

A wicked guitar with a diverse range of sound and tone.
