AR350 Project

Author Message Jimmyjames Username: Jimmyjames Registered: 06-2004 Posted on Thursday, January 18, 2007 - 7:51 pm:    Hey everybody, I have an '85 AR350PW that I'm going to do some work on. A previous owner put a Floyd Rose on it and screwed up the finish when he re drilled the holes for the posts. The guitar is all original and in very good condition except for the trem. I guess I'm going to refinish at least the top. I'd like to get the color as close to original as possible, but polar white might be a tough color to reproduce. Does any one here have any suggestions on where to get a close color paint? Also, I haven't decided what bridge to use. Does anyone know what the radius of this neck is? It does not match the Floyd so the guitar is almost unplayable now. Would I be able to order a GibraltarII from Ibanez and install it and have the radius be the same? I know it's going to be a big project, but that's OK, I like working on stuff. I am open to any opinions, ideas and suggestions. Polar and Pearl. Do you have a pic? It's kind of shiny looking like my fire red Musician. I'll try to post pics when I get home but I've never had any luck getting them to work on this forum...
