Hello all. I recently stumbled across this site and I decided I would give ot a shout to everyone. HI!
Anyway, I am the original owner of an rs1300nt, and over the past decade it has fallen into complete dis-use (newer and better-liked guitars come along, don't ya know). I have always hated the pro rock'r tremelo that is the original equipment, and I would like to replace it with a badass style wraparound bridge. The pro rock'r is completely functional and I intend to save all the parts so that restoration to original will be possible, but even if it's not possible I think I'm going with the wraparound anyway (what good is this very pretty guitar if I won't play it?).
My question is this: Are the threads on the badass' posts different/smaller than those of the pro rock'r? If so, will I have to figure out how to get the pro rock'r bushings out of there, or will it be possible to get some sort of a coupling sleeve with smaller threads on the inside?
If I DO have to get the original bushings out of there, well....it looks like that is going to be a pretty mean task. Does anyone have any advice on the best/easiest way to fit the new bridge? How in the heck do you remove the bushings(if neccessary)?
Thanks for reading!

Wow. I've never seen one on ebay, and right after I start this thread I go and look....what do you know. Wow. This thing is sweet, and it's in a little better condition than mine. Check it out.

Here are some pics of my RS1300NT. As you can see, it has suffered the same fate as many others, with the typical fading of the gold hardware. What can ya do.

Gorgeous looking rosewood slab on your fretboard there! My RS530 doesn't have a carved top. That belly really sets it apart, along with the nice natural finish. I don't have any advice about adapting a new bridge, but I'd be real careful not to modify the wood itself.
