RoadStar II for a beginner???

We have a cool blue one with 3 single coils and a strat style bridge at our shop. We just sold one with 2 humbuckers and a double locking system. You're right about this bridge not being fun for beginners, tho. The Roadstar I'm thinking about has a plain old fender style trem. Are they stable, as in stay in tune? It's also a lefty, that's mainly why I'm interested in it. JohnS
