hi,

i'd like some feedback on the Y2K RG7, appreciate if u can address the following queries:

1. it seems that the Y2K RG7 is less massive/ heavy than late '80s RG, can someone ps enlighten me on the wood used for this guitar (i'm aware it's still basswood, but maybe a diff basswood?)?

2. is there any significant tonal diff betw the 1998 RG7's blaze2 dimarzios & the Y2K's dimarzio 7N/ 7B? i THINK i'm gonna invest in some duncan trembuckers...(i have 'em in my sabre).

3. did ibanez incorporate a new formula in the harware's coating? it seems to be more wear resistant (doesn't fade as easily). this is cool.

thanks in advance.
