Does anybody know which 80's models were equipped with Hardrocker bridges in gold plate? I'm trying to restore an '83 RS1000 and I need a bridge (I actually only need four saddle units). It might make it easier to find if I knew which (if any) other guitars had the same bridge.

Both the '83-'84 RR550 (Rocket Roll II) and DT550 (Destroyer II) had these bridges in gold plate, but you might have a bit of work on your hands finding one that someone will part-out... They both have flame maple tops and great pickups and sound awesome! The Rocket Roll II is especially difficult to find as it was only made for three years before being replaced by a more contemporary Rhoads-style V. I know you can't have mine (nothing personal :-)

Thank you. At least I can broaden my search a little bit. I'm willing to buy a whole guitar if necessary. So if anybody has this bridge, I'm definitely interested.

According to my 83-84 Roadstar catalog the
following models were offered with the "Hardrocker
Pro"bridges:RS1500, RS1000.The HR-pro bridges have
a string clamp that locks the string to the
saddle.
The following models were offered with the
"Hardrocker" bridge without the string clamp:
RS505, RS405, RS315. Perhaps the sadles will work
