I bought it brand new in 1990, and it has the following features:

- Jewel Blue finish
- black headstock
- Ibanez Edge tremolo
- pickup configuration of S-S-H (IBZ USA C2 & F2)
- one volume and one tone knob (black metal)
- five position switch
- 2 piece neck
- rosewood fingerboard
- sharktooth inlay
- Bensalem, PA plate on back

I think it may be either a RG 560 or 760. It's been in it's case for about 8 years. Mint condition other than a little oxidation on the volume and tone knobs. Any idea what it would be worth?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

The guitar is an RG760 if it has no Pickguard...

It is a 560 if it has a black pickguard...

either way it is worth about $500USD

Hmmm... I thought the RG560/570 did NOT have a pickguard?! The only difference was h/s/h/ vs h/s/s. The 450/550's have a pickguard, but they're all h/s/h. All 700 series RG's I've seen have a bound neck. Hope this helps.

Cheers
Steve

the 560 does not have shark tooth inlays...

Oops! I overlooked that. So it's gotta be an RG760. Look something like this?

Owen,

Are you looking to sell this guitar? If so, e-mail me. My brother has been Jones'n for one of these.

Cheers
