O.K. fellow Ibaneezers, it's time for your feedback on this new thread. As most of you know I work for the Ibanez distributor in Australia, and after seeing a very valid thread some weeks ago as to why certain models are only available in Japan,I put forward a suggestion to the powers to be that all the models that we can see on the website should be available to the masses. My question is would you be willing to purchase a J Custom or a Limited model if you where able to have access to these beautiful guitars. The reason I ask is that in 1997 we bought in 6 of the J Customs for the AMAC trade show held in Sydney that year and sold off the stand straight away and the people who bought them a very keen Ibanez collectors. So what's your thoughts ?

I look forward to your replies

Keep on rockin

Are you addressing this to Australian buyers only? Or would there be some incentive for international buyers also? I mean, if the exchange rate of US$ to AUS$ was very favorable (and shipping didn't put the price over the top) am I going to get a guitar that would be impossible to get thru the local Guitar Center, Sam Ash or Musician's Friend?

You should probably ask this over on the Jemsite, too. They are more likely to be buying new guitars. A lot of the focus here is on used collectible stuff.

John, this quiz would be for our fellow ibaneezers in Australia and New Zealand, so bring it on.

Cameron.
