I've had my ex from brand new and want to sell it I am unsure of the value and would like to know where I COULD GET IT VALUED. OR if there was a web site with price lists.

Slinky:

To get a value from any source, you need to be VERY specific about the guitar. Year (serial number would help), model (a description of pickups, color, fingerboard material and inlays, etc. can help narrow the model down), & condition are essential.

Other factors that will affect value: does it have any modifications? does it come with an original case, is it a hardshell or soft?

The area of the world you live in affects price. Where are you located?

Answer the above and somebody here should have a ballpark figure for you.

You might get useful opinions if you ask on the www.jemsite.com site. But they'll need the same info.

There are no sites I know of, that specifically value guitars. There are classifieds sections on www.harmonycentral.com and other guitar sites. You could troll these for similar models and see what the asking prices are. Same goes for searching auction sites like ebay and yahoo.

There are 2 books, The Blue Book of Guitars and Vintage Guitar price guide. I saw both in the local Borders this weekend. I wasn't really impressed with either's accuracy.
