I am relearning the guitar after about 15 yrs. I played BC Rich guitars and Jackson guitars before. I want to begin lessons soon and loved the playing ability of the RG 550. What is a Ibanez that is comparable but affordable just starting out? I have to buy everything all over.Any lessons that are better then other on the computer?I appreciate ANY help you offer.

Hey,

What kind of budget do you have? You might wanna consider a used instrument as there is big savings available.

I can highly recommend the GAX70 from first hand experience. Two humbuckers and a hardtail are hard to beat in my book. Best bang for the buck out there.

If you want an RG style and tremolo, I'd go with an RG220 or higher. The 100 series RG's aren't the best stuff Ibanez has produced.

You might also look at the GSA (S Series) models. They get good reviews.

Cheers
Steve
