I just bought an '87 540 S (with the 3 toggle switches) for about $100. It's pretty dinged up and had no trem (I just happened to have an Edge laying around), and I'd like to return it to its former glory.
Does anyone know where I can get paint to refinish it- I'd like to get as close to "Atlantic Blue" as possible. Any other painting tips?

Thanks,

Todd

Use automotive paint. Basecoat clearcoat paints by PPG work great and dry relatively quickly. DBU basecoats are easy to spray then use PPG's speed clear which is 2042 I believe (Off top of my head) Need proper spraygun and compressor though.
