I saw this guitar for sale somewhere. I thought it was nice to share the pic with this board! This Artist was made in 1985 before the AR2000?

the brass beauty was shown in the 1981 catalog
which indicated that it might be also available
in an eq version although there were no model
numbers given for either. the catalog only shows
the cherry burst finish although i have always
thought that the av finished guitar would have been
very eyecatching with the brass appointments.
they featured brass truss rod cover, brass switch tip,
brass pickguard and bracket and brass knobs with
rubber grips. this model seems to be fairly rare.
i just received the one that i got on ebay a couple weeks ago.

Johns, they ask €1000,- for it. Thats $1013. Bit too much maybe? Orval, may I ask what you paid for yours on Ebay?

Musash, I just got one from a private seller, he asked first 900 e but dropped a little after some serious haggling.. BTW, isn´t it AR300CS, not AR1000? And last:can anyone help me with this question: where/how to obtain new control knobs on that beauty? Or do I have to try to sand and polish the originals, they are seriously pitted..
