I have an IBANEZ J-CUSTOM Guitar which has the body-shape of an S 2540. The finish looks like kind of the `Antique Violin´ one. It also has a golden sparkle rim around the body-top, continuing
on the ebony fretboard and the body-like colored headstock. The binding round the whole guitar
looks like ivory. The only inlay on the fretboard is at the 12th fret and looks like two brackets with 5 (yeah, FIVE) dots between them. The Pickups (HSH)are DiMarzios. The hardware is non
glancing golden. Body-wood : Mahogany.
I just need to know when this guitar was produced, how many of them do exist and what is the value of it ????????

simple: check out the serial number. the first 2 digit of the serial number indicates the year of production. my bet is your s2540 was made in 1999.
