Hi everyone,

I hope that someone can give me some infos about my latest purchase, an '92 Ibanez Destroyer. The Serial-Nr. is F214324. Actually I was looking for an 'original' DT400 but since I also wanted a Destroyer with FR-Style Tremolo, but don't like the black-only EX-Models very much, I decided to pick it up.

I've never seen on of these before, here are some of its features:

  • bolt-on neck
  • EX-series-like fretboard inlays
  • V1(neck) and V2(bridge) Pickups
  • Flame-Top (veneer only) with Cherry Sunburst finish
  • 25.5 scale!
  • 'DT-series'-logo in 'gothic' letters on headstock

I already sent a mail to Jim Donahue but he only said that he has seen this Guitar before but there was no info in any of his current catalogs. He also said that the Guitar had never made it to the USA 'cause it was too expensive.

Any infos are appreciated, thanks very much in advance!

Regards
Juergen
