I have an EX360, serial P806836 made in Korea. Can anyone tell me the year it was made, what wood is the body?? Anything else? Thanks!

I'd say it was manufactured in 1988. I don't have an '88 catalog, but my '93 catalog describes the EX350 and EX370 models as being made of basswood.

Perhaps somebody else will have more definitive information.

I'll back John on the build date, 1988. However, I think the first mention of the EX Series in the catalogs is 1989. I'll have to check the books tonight.

The EX actually refers to my playing - EXtremely poor!

Thanks for the info guys. Based on what you said, I did a quick Google search and I found this site which has scanned Ibanex catalogs: http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/us/1989/

I found my EX360 in the 1989. Thanks again!!
