Muso300 (Muso300)
Posted on Sunday, September 21, 2003 - 10:10 am:

As the owner of an 80s AR100 I have been reading this forum for a while now, but after my latest purchase I thought I would register & share some of the details of my new guitar .
Unfortunately I do not have a digital camera - so I will describe it as best I can

Ibanez Musician MC300
ser no H940099
no inlay on headstock - just Ibanez logo
brass truss rod cover with Musician logo
gold tuners stamped Made In Japan
pegs are gold - not pearloid
there is no writing below the serial no
bone ? nut & slotted brass zero fret ?
24 frets
dot markers on fingerboard
p/u selector on upper horn
p/u have black plastic covers & non adjustable pole pieces
gold rectangular bridge - no round edges
gold cloud tailpiece
2 tri-sound switches
4 vol/tone knobs with rubber surround
input jack is beside tri switches - not on side of body
colour is dark brown
condition is mint
It may have been originally bought by a collector at a trade fair
I have read of Artists being made of of spare parts lying about the factory in the mid 90s, but not any Musicians. Anyone got any further info ?
