Author Message   Dave_The_Dude (Dave_The_Dude) Posted on Monday, November 03, 2003 - 12:44 pm:    Unfortunately I don't have this guitar anymore. It was stolen. I bought it in the mid 1980's as a used instrument, but it was fairly new, maybe a few years old at most. It was electric, Strat shape with more rounded horns, active HB-HB pickups, rosewood fretboard, painted all white with a purple burst in the middle, AND very sweet sounding. The pickups were covered by a flat, black cover. Anyone have any idea what model this might have been? There's a picture of white/purple 1986 RG600WP (Wine Pearl) in the Miscellaneous section, in the thread entitled: Survey - What's in Your Collection? It's over halfway down. Look for a message from Gitfiddle. Hardtail; RG600. Both were 1986 Roadstar models. The finish is called Wine Pearl. The fret board is actually Ebony on the RG600. I have an RG600WP for sale if you're interested.
