Hi folks. First time posting here. First, I have a Maxxas and have had it for about 10 years and really liked it. The little info I have about them indicates one was given to Joe Satriani back in the day and that evolved into the JS series. Anyway, I went out recently and bought myself a new JS100BP about 3 months ago. I like the guitar a lot, but would really like to have it prefessionally setup. That however may not be an option now though as I was fortunate enough to have Joe (who of course is my favorite guitar player) autograph it last week. Here's my dilemma. I am honored to have this guitar, but now am afraid to play it for fear of ruining the autograph. It's kind of an expensive guitar to hang on the wall , and of course I really like to play it. What I am considering is,
a) hanging it in a display and buying another to play.
b) clearing over the signature (hopefully I could contact Ibanez and get the factory to do it??)
c)and of course LASTLY just selling it and buying another to play.
I have been on Rich Harris' site and was going to ask his opinion as well, as he is sort of close to me and I was hoping I could pay him to set it up, but don't want to bother him until I have a direction.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Of course I have been wondering what kind of money tis guitar would bring in, and if any one has any guesstimates, I'd appreciate those as well. Thanks!

Contact Rich. He's about as honest a guy as you'll run across.

Cheers

That's what I gathered after reading over his website. I guess I'll have to do drop him a line.

Well to be honest, the FIRST one wasn't really in the budget! But now out of necessity a second one just may be. Thanks goodness I have an understanding wife! (Who actually told me not to come home from the concert without that thing signed! So really it's HER fault!)
