I just picked up this PUE5 on ebay. Here's some pix:

PUE5_whole
PUE5_left PUE5_right PUE5_Serial

So far, I'm pretty amazed at how well it's worked out, considering how low-tech it seems compared to my BOSS GT6 effects board.

Anyway, I'd like more info on it and any helpful hints from those more experienced. Is there anyway to tell how old it is? Any manuals around for it? I'm assuming that it's safe to open it..there are already quite a few screws missing. Anything special I should look for inside?

I don't know much about the unit other than it's desireable and tends to fetch a fair amount on eBay. They talk about it in The Untold Story. I've had my eyes on one for years. Details please!
