hello all. i am new to this site, for i recently acquired an ibanez flying pan fp-777 at a local flea market place for 8 bucks. i have never been much into effects (except an overdrive here and there), but this pedal was so cool looking, and cheap, i had to purchase it even if it didn't work. well, a few hours later, i hooked up a nine volt, and wow, this thing rocks. i can only imagine how cool it would sound if i had two rigs to play it through. but anyways, what is the history on this thing? are they really as rare as all these sites claim to be? i am contemplating on selling this, for i will probably never use it to its full potential, and it would more than likely make someone who knows more about it happier than i could ever expect to be. it is in nice condition, a few scuffs on the silver top, and the battery cover is missing, but it works perfectly. thanks to all of you who take the time to read this, and to whomever may respond.

I've been running a stereo rig for about 25 years. The flying Pan has always been on my wish list. Email me if you want to discuss selling it. I'm interested.

I currently use an AceTone stereo phaser and I used to own a Firstman Stereo Rotary Effector...all in attempt to supplement my need for a Flying Pan. I'm assuming the Flying Pan will get me the effect I'm looking for, but honestly, I've never tried one.

hey all, well, i have had a hard time trying to find history etc. and a few have replied wanting to purchase, but i have no idea where to start with a fair price, but before i go through the trouble of ebay (which i really dont wanna do), i am proposing trades. i will consider a fair and even trade if someone is willing, as this seems to me to be a more fair deal. let me know if anyone wants to be fair.... amp, amp head, or guitar..... make me an offer.
