I have some questions for all of you PT 5 owners.I've always been a Marshall and a stomp box guy so this is new to me even though it's old to most. What are the good points, bad points, tricks learned or any info you think I should know about this unit. Also,I need a copy of the manual if someone has one.I'll pay for you to go to the local drugstore copy machine or whatever.Once I get it home I hope to figure most of it out but I would like to know it's full potential. If anyone can hook me up please do.

Surprise surprise,I called ibanez and within 5 min. they faxed me all 20 pages of the manual.I would still like to hear some of your opinions though. So far I think it's a very useful board. Most of the presets suck though.

Those factory presets...
I don't know who thinks up those things, but I'll bet they're not musicians!
Yes, the PT5 has enormous potential. You can print some pretty wicked tones with it, but live, you've got to be a little more realistic, or it'll turn your guitar into a wash of noise. Less is definitely more when it comes to digital FX. They are extremely powerful, so even a little does a lot.

I'm in the same boat, only one worse!
I need a manual (I requested the info from Ibanez, but nothing yet) AND I need to find a replacement power supply!
The unit itself says "12DC" under the AC input, but I read somewhere that it actually uses 12 & 5 volts. Is that true? What's the polarization?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's another better late than never reply. My PT5 power supply cut out the other day and I found that my Morley Bad Horsie supply was a perfect fit and these can be ordered from any music store.I thought my PUE5 supply would work but it's for a different pin size. Now to find something for that one just in case...

I found a PDF of the user manual for the Ibanez PT5 Multi-Effects Processor at this link:

Let me know if you have any problems...
