I need anything, specs, schematics, service manual, rumors...

The thing is a vintage desktop delay/flanger unit. It seems to get about 800ms delay time, but have weak repeats and a murky sound.

I am certain that someone tweaked it to have a longer delay time, and compromised the sound quality.

Inside the unit, the curcuit board says Maxon MR-AD801A, and it has two BBD chips: MN3005 and MN3007.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steve:

I have an AD-150. It's a delay w/out a flanger. It looks like the AD-100 with one extra button.

Do you have pictures of the AD-190?

btw...there are other Ibanez delay/flanger units.

Thanks,
Michael

Yes, I already have an AD-202, which I love. The goal here is to get this thing working, and I think all I have to do is understand what the trimpots inside do.

I've found a picture of the AD-150, and it looks similar to my AD-190. The picture is too small to make out the knobs, unfortunately.

I've figured out which trimpots control the delay time for delay and flanger; what I really need to do is increase the regeneration (the flanger also has wimpy sound, because of low regeneration).

There is also a broken trace on the PCB; going to have a friend fix that for me some time
