hello there!
i just sold my GB100 and i am looking for an Ibanez solid body guitar that has the same treatment on neck + fingerboard, and the same fine ebony and medium frets etc or similar. I do not know if it is better to post that in the solid body topic area, but i thought that you guys here would have an answer to my Q. i really like the GB100 playability and neck feeling...
best
michael

michael, the neck of my GB30 (semi, not solidbody) is quite similar to a GB10 i had (20mm under the 1st fret, flat "D" shape). you should check with AR owners who know GB models.

I think neck shapes and dimensions of every model are at Ibanez web sites.

How necks feel is a different thing

With neck profiles, you are always best served by a personal inspection. I've handled some AR's that have slim necks and others with slightly chunkier 'D' shapes.

Most of the Ibanez solid body guitars have a soft 'D' profile, not like the GB's. GB's tend to have more 'shoulders' to their neck carve. And the GB30 has one of the slimmer profiles of any of the GB series. The GB10 neck is a dream for me to hold and play with its not-too chunky, soft 'D' shape.

But hey, those are just the ones I've had my big hands on.
