I realize this is a tall order, but I'm seeking an AM50. I love the AM series and prefer the AM50 to any others due to maple neck vs. mahogany on the other AM's (correct me if I'm wrong) and the chrome hardware (I hate gold hardware).

I'm watching an AS200 right now, which I like because of the brighter tone than say, an AM205, but I want the smaller body of an AM and again, the gold hardware bugs me. I figure, if I'm going to spend this kind of cash, I better love how it looks.

I'd also be interested in an LR10.

Does anyone know anything or have any advice besides watching ebay and this site?

Thanks!

www.guitarcrazy.com has one for $849. I found it on Gbase mall.
Good luck, I just got mine and I love it.

I have two AM50s myself (no I ain't selling either of them!)

But this guy here in the UK (and soon to be Germany) who only deals in top quality examples is selling a superb 1982 AM50 Artist. Top quality. Last time I spoke to him I think he mentioned he was asking £550 (so about $1100) for it. His stuff is currently in storage until he completes his move - so you might have to wait a while..but it would be worth it I'm sure.
