Can anyone conform if there was a AM-250 model
made, and any specs on it? What would be a fair
price for one in VG cond?

I've been doing a lot of information hunting lately on AM and AS guitars. I haven't seen an AM-250 yet. Are you sure that it isn't an AM-205?
Can you describe any of the guitar's features?
