I've lurked here for months learning more about my my vintage blonde 2355. Thanks in advance for the knowledge.

However, the time has come to sell my dear 2355 as she's not getting played (believe it or not because a recently acquired Harmony H6510 with Dearmond has become my daily driver). The 2355 has lived in her custom-made case, to pretty to jam with, while other axes moved through the rotation over the past year anyway.

She is a looker, honestly, in amazingly beautiful shape for her age. The absolute worst of it, being perfectly honest, is that there is a finish crack at the heel. The joint is completely solid and has been for years.

The guitar is in spectacular shape for ~30 years old. There is barely a mark on the flamed top, rim is near flawless, and the flamed back has minor, minor buckle rash. Pickup selector, jack, and pots are all perfectly functional and quiet; tail, bridge, and pickup covers are perfect and shiny with virtually no oxidation, pitting, or wear. Tuners were replaced by the previous owners luthier with Grover tulips.

Neck is narrow and fast. No dings in the fretboard, nice frets, and perfectly setup with new 11 rounds. There is also no pickguard, though any pickguard for a 175 will fit perfectly.

I am not sure of the exact year but she has no serial number and DOES have the gibson "lawsuit" headstock. So, I don't know, does make it somewhere '74-'75?

This is a beautiful sounding jazzbox and comes with a custom case that was measured and made for this guitar.

I will ship to Europe but buyer pays shipping -- I will pack carefully and will not charge for packing or materials.

I'm asking $1100 and will be shipping from Boston. In case one of you is looking for one of these, I thought I would post here and avoid the potential hassle on eBay. I am a serious seller and if you are local to Boston, you are welcome to come over and play.

If I should post this in another forum area, please let me know.

-Chris

Welcome Chris,

That's a nice one: a real "Lawsuit model" with an open book headstock.
Looking at the flat pole pieces, these pickups look like Maxons, not Super 70s, so I think it's from 1974.
