I had a dissapointing experience with 2 ES-335's this year and sold them both. I just picked up an '01 AS80 and it is a terrific guitar.

I did a search but did not find an answer about body depth compared to other thinlines. The rim is similar but I was surprised to see how much deeper the body is at the center. This AS80 is at least 3" deep at the bridge. It that the norm?
thanks
