Desirability of the AS100

They seem to have a higher appraised value in some of the publications I've read. More than the AS200 and alot of the AM series. I don't see much interest or as much in them from you connoisseurs. Maybe I'm wrong. Not the 1st time. Is it the availibilty or lack there of? Anyway I might have a line on an '80 in pristine shape but it's a bit of a drive to take a look at it and I wouldn't mind a bit of an education before I take the trek. It's totally worth it. I have a 1980 and I would buy another one. It has a great neck and sound. It's warmer than the AS200. I think people don't pay attention to it because it's simpler (in appointments) than the AS200. Acetan (another member here) could tell you more about it. My 2 c.. let us know how it turns out. Very warm, however, detailed as well. I am thinking about seeing if anyone is interested in a trade for a 2355. For some reason, I just love full hollowbody's and would like to try a 2355 to compliment my FA510. Stacey   Jazzzbo Username: Jazzzbo Registered: 9-2005 Posted on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 - 12:57 am:    the 2355 is a fine axe, but what im digging right now is an Ibanez 2454, this is like a gibson 330/ like a 335 but completely hollow, its very light, and you can play way up high on the neck, it sounds killer unplugged and with an amp, i havnt done any gigs with it yet, but will report when i do, i havnt seen many of these for sale ,. so i grabbed this one, cheers, jazzzz
